Welcome to Girl Scouts! This engaging and informative training
session is designed to equip new leaders with the knowledge,
resources, and confidence needed to guide their Troop through their
first Troop meeting. As a leader, you'll play an important role in
fostering a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where girls can
learn, grow, and explore their potential.
During this
training, you'll learn about the Girl Scouts' mission and the core
values that have empowered generations of girls to become leaders of
courage, confidence, and character. You'll also dive into the
practical aspects of leading a troop, including building your Troop
team, organizing your Troop, understanding safety guidelines, and
preparing for your first Troop meeting. Most importantly, you'll
connect with a community of fellow leaders and staff who share your
passion for mentoring and making a difference as you navigate this new
adventure.

As a courtesy to our waitlisted registrants, members registered
for this event are encouraged to cancel at least 7 days prior to the
close the event's registration by contacting
customercare@girlscoutsccs.org. This event is a free event; there are
no refunds issued on no cost events.
Reasonable
Accommodations
GSCCS is committed to providing reasonable
accommodations for attendees that may have special circumstances or
needs that may require alternative planning. Attendees with a special
circumstance should include the accommodation need in the box labeled
"Special Circumstances," for our staff to review.
