In this training course, Troop Leaders will learn essential skills for effectively managing a Girl Scout Troop. Whether you're a seasoned leader or just starting out, this course covers key topics to help you create a successful troop experience. Here's what you'll learn:

 

1. Your Role as a Girl Scout Volunteer:

- Understand the responsibilities and expectations of being a Troop leader.

- Learn how to work collaboratively within a team.

 

2. Planning Your Troop Meeting:

- Explore strategies for organizing Troop activities.

- Discover effective ways to engage girls during meetings.

 

3. Use Troop Management Tools and Resources to:

- Plan the troop's meeting schedule

- Communicate with Parents/Caregivers

- View the Troop roster, renew Girl Scout memberships, and update contact information.

- Access meeting plans for Journeys and badges, including suggested tracks for multi-level groups.

- Customize meeting agendas to suit your Troop's needs

- Discover programming opportunities available to Girl Scout Members
